Manufactured by Semitec, this glass thermistor for 3D printers is encapsulated with a copper jacket by E3D to improve heat transfer and to add strength and stability for secure installation into a hot end heater block.
This 100k Semitec NTC Thermistor is used to sense temperatures up to 300°C (572°F). Select temperature table #5 for the correct temperature reading in Marlin-based firmware.
Designed as a direct replacement for the thermistor used on the LulzBot Aerostruder Tool Head, LulzBot TAZ MOARstruder Tool Head, and LulzBot Long Block Hot End, this component is terminated with bare connector pins.
This glass thermistor is encapsulated with a copper cover for secure installation into a hot end heater block with either a locking screw or a locking plate.
